WHO WE ARE:
In our commitment to bring transformation, enrich lives, and encourage sustainable development, we are directing efforts to often forgotten groups. Our teams intentionally reach out to those forgotten people groups currently working across Africa and in Myanmar.
Teams are training these people groups to implement and grow sustainable transformation in their villages by focusing on the core issues that keep extreme poverty at bay – clean, accessible water, food security for all, education for children, income opportunities for families, and tools for health and wellness.
Missions Matter equips, empowers, encourages, and comes alongside champions who ignite change in their communities. Too often, historically, mission leaders have come upon a downtrodden community only to make things worse by offering hand-outs that diminish the economy locally. Our teams work with the local leaders and, often, governments to ensure local ownership of the transformational process.
Missions Matter serves these champions because of our own relationship with Christ. We seek to do as He commanded and desire to share His love with others through our service.
OUR WHY:
Missions Matter exists to demonstrate the glory of the kingdom of God to the overlooked.

VISION:
A global family of kingdom champions.

made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.” Revelation 5:9-10
MISSION:
Serve kingdom champions, drivers, and ignitors.
“The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those in authority over them are called benefactors. But not so with you. Rather, let the greatest among you become as the youngest, and the leader as the
one who serves. For who is the greater, one who reclines at table or one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at table? But I am among you as the

LEADERSHIP
Founder
Martins Atanda
Martins Atanda, Doctor of Missiology is an ordained Episcopal Minister who became a missionary to the Non Christians of North West Nigeria and Francophone West and Central Africa. He has been in missions for two decades.
He is the Mission Director of Zion World Prayer and Missions that has planted 50+ churches among the unreached tribes of the North West of Nigeria and Niger Republic. He trains indigenous believers to become missionaries in these unique and difficult terrains.
He is also raising believers to become leaders in the secular world and gospel financiers thereby bringing transformation to the society.
Due to his passion to help the poor, Martins holds the vision to end suffering and share the love of God with as many people as possible by empowering champions locally.
He is married to Shade Atanda an attorney at Law, they are blessed with three children – Zethar (19), Simchah (12) and Natsach (9). They make their home in Sokoto, Nigeria.
